Because we believe in promoting women’s sports and reinforcing the importance of having female role models in the Palestinian sports scene. Sareyyet Ramallah established a football team for girls in 2008. This team had an instrumental role in establishing women football in Palestine. The team has participated in and won many local and international tournaments, including those in Jordan, Norway, and France, they won the Tournament Championship and Cup in 2009 and ranked second in the 2010 Tournament Championship. The players of this team are considered the best of the best and have been selected to represent Palestine in the National Team.
