Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival 2017 is a part of the two projects  “Palestinian Festivals Towards Cooperation and Community Inclusion” and “Palestine and Europe: Shared Human Values through cultural events” that are funded Project by the European Union.

“Palestinian Festivals Towards Cooperation and Community Inclusion”

Sareyyet Ramallah – First Ramallah Group, Al-Rozana Association and  the Popular Art Centre have received a joint project grant from the European Union for the project “Palestinian Festivals towards Cooperation and Community Inclusion”. The three organizations organize through this project: Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival (Sareyyet Ramallah), Birzeit Heritage Week (Rozana Association) and Palestine International Festival (Popular Art Centre), as well as organizing workshops, conferences, symposiums and round table discussions. The project aims at reinforcing the collaboration between Palestinian cultural centers and activating the cultural and artistic movement.

“Palestine and Europe: Shared Human Values through cultural events” Project

Sareyyet Ramallah – First Ramallah Group, Rozana Association and L’Officinia/ France have received a joint project grant “Palestine and Europe: Shared human values through cultural events” from the European Union. The three organizations will produce, through this project, Folkloric and contemporary Dance performances, dance workshops in Gaza Strip and Bedouin areas, launch the first online Dance data base for Palestinian dancers all over the world, Birzeit Heritage Week and Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival. The project aims at reinforcing the collaboration between Palestinian cultural centers and activating the cultural and artistic movement.
