Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival 2018 is a part of
“Palestine and Europe: Shared human values through cultural events” project
Funded Project by the European Union
Sareyyet Ramallah – First Ramallah Group, Rozana Association and L’Officinia have received a joint project grant “Palestine and Europe: Shared human values through cultural events” from the European Union to develop the Palestinian cultural scene. Partners through this project will produce Folkloric and Contemporary dance productions, moriver organie dance workshops in Gaza Strip and other Bedoin areas, in addition to launching the Pal dance databace for Palestinian dancers inside and in diaspora, and organizing the Birzeit Heritage week and the Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival. The project aims to promote Palestine and Europe common values to protect and enhance Palestinian social cohesion, gender awareness, cultural identity and heritage through the increase of cultural productions and events that reaches out to various audiences, making EU assistance to the Palestinian people visible.
