In 1972, Sareyyet RamallahI established the first swimming pool in Palestine. The local and international voluntary work camps started with the opening of this swimming pool. In 1987, this swimming pool was opened to be the first educational recreational swimming pool in Ramallah. A large number of important Palestinian swimmers graduated from this swimming pool. It is worth noting that Sareyyet Ramallah is a member of the Palestinian Swimming Federation.
