Al-Asheq (The Lover) 1986

It was the first Dance Production, produced by Sareyyet Ramallah Dance Troupe after it was re-established in 1985. The performance tackles the issue of the Palestinians’ alienation from their home country and the suffering they endure in the diaspora, where they were forcibly expelled by the occupation.

The performance took place in Ramallah, Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Kofor Kanna, the North Galilee and the occupied Golan Heights.
